Circus Universe was founded by illusionist Dan Kranstz with a single mission: to bring world-class circus entertainment to Toronto's events in a way that's professional, reliable, and genuinely spectacular.

What started as a boutique agency has grown into a roster of over 50 elite performers spanning every circus discipline — from Olympic-calibre acrobats and international aerialists to master magicians, fire artists, and larger-than-life variety performers.

We serve corporate clients, festival producers, wedding planners, DMCs, and private event hosts across Toronto, the GTA, and across Canada.

About Circus Universe – Frequently Asked Questions

What types of events does Circus Universe serve?

Circus Universe serves corporate events of every type (galas, product launches, trade shows, holiday parties, team events), public festivals and fairs, private celebrations (weddings, milestone birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs), DMC and conference entertainment, and large-scale public events. Our roster of 50+ performers covers every event format and scale, from an intimate cocktail hour to a festival main stage.

Are your performers fully insured?

Yes — comprehensive general liability insurance is a baseline requirement for every performer on our roster. Specialty coverage is standard for fire performers and aerial acts. We provide insurance documentation and certificates of insurance on request, and can name your venue or organization as an additional insured where required by your event or venue agreement.

How far in advance should I book circus entertainment?

For corporate galas and large events, we recommend booking 4–8 weeks in advance to ensure availability of your preferred performers and adequate production planning time. For major festivals and large-scale events, 2–4 months is ideal. We can accommodate shorter lead times for smaller bookings when performer availability allows — contact us and we'll confirm what's possible for your date.

Does Circus Universe travel outside Toronto?

Yes — while our home base is Toronto and the GTA, we produce events across Ontario and across Canada. Travel and accommodation costs are factored into quotes for out-of-market bookings. Contact us with your event location and we'll build a quote that covers everything your event needs regardless of where it's happening.
